The new Cooper Original by US Wings G-1 is now available. Cooper Sportswear was founded in the early 1920s and was awarded Contract No. W535ac23381 on January 5, 1942 to produce A-2 jackets for the USAAF during WWII.

Back by popular demand! One of the staple jackets of the original Cooper Sportswear line was the Cooper Sportswear Goatskin USN G-1 (the other being the Cooper Sportswear Goatskin A-2). So after much demand, we’re re-introducing this classic naval aviator’s flight jacket! The G-1 is the USN/USMC flight jacket worn with pride by naval aviators since WWII (although the jacket was known as the M-422A during the WWII era).
Our US Wings Cooper Original Goatskin USN G-1 is an authentic reproduction of the original Cooper G-1 and a true military-spec jacket. Features include a shell made from the finest mil spec goatskin available, two button-flapped cargo pockets, a bi-swing back for freedom of movement, genuine mouton fur collar, interior map pocket, nylon lining, inside windflap with “USN” perforation, and knit cuffs & waistband.
