I used all the money I had saved from lifeguarding to purchase my Indy-Style Adventurer Jacket back in 2009. It is a wonderful jacket, one I envision giving to my kids one day. I have used it for camping, as a winter coat (with a hoodie or rain-jacket underneath), and as the centerpiece of an outfit. Over the past twelve years, the only damage it has accrued is the stitching coming loose across the bottom of the coat and the lining has become quite ripped (amazing durability for a primary coat used for twelve years). It’s style has transitioned seamlessly from the farm I grew up on in Ohio, to NYC where I work now. I plan on getting the jacket repaired, having a new lining put in, and enjoying this wonderful coat for decades to come. I can not recommend this jacket enough.

I am completely thrilled with the jacket. It is exceptionally well made, fits me like it was tailored for me and is the most comfortable piece of clothing I have ever owned, bar none. And my wife even likes the way I look in it (always an added bonus). I have an old A-2 from Avirex that’s about 22 years old and it’s still in great shape but the damn thing has shrunk up on me if you know what I mean. OH MY GOSH! This jacket is AMAZING! It is instantly my favorite and I have SEVEN jackets. It’s quality is wonderful and being American made is even more special. The fit is perfect and it is warm for 30s temps with a sweater., probably in colder whether as well. The feel of the leather is incredible and the color is beautiful. I just bought an “Indy Style” jacket for my son, Max, and I wanted to let you know, personally, how much this gift meant to him. Indiana Jones is one of his heroes (he already has one of the original issue Stetson hats and has gone through two whips) but his search for “just the right” jacket eluded him until this Christmas. He was especially impressed by the reproduction of the newspaper article included in the box, and now has it hanging on the wall over his bed. (I’ve been a writer for the New York Times for 25 years now, and Max has never hung one of my articles on his wall.)
I have been trying to impress upon Max the difference between Hollywood heroes and real life heroes, and your book has helped me do that. I have been reading sections to him before going to bed at night. (Not the scary stuff, of course, but the inspiration that your experiences generated.) As a 60-ish guy who did everything possible to avoid the military when I was young (but who joined the New Jersey State Guard/Naval Militia after 9/11 to set some kind of good example for my seven children) I am truly grateful for and inspired by your service to the country. Men like you make men like me feel humbled, if not downright ashamed.
Anyway, I was wondering if, at some point, you could send Max an autographed picture of you – in uniform, if possible – so that he can hang it between his U.S. Wings article and the hook on which he carefully hangs his Indy jacket when he goes to bed. Max is eight years old and, like all of our sons, is a special, beautiful boy. I’m sure he would treasure anything you can muster up.

I’m a big fan of ” Indiana Jones” series movie. Have a Indy-style jacket is my long-cherished wish for many years. Finally I ordered a ” Signature Series Vintage Cowhide Indy-Style Adventurer Jacket” from US Wings. I found it faithfully restored the movie scene.
I’m around 172 lbs and 5’9 1/2″, size ” L” is too big for me, except you wearing thick sweater inside it. I have to ask for US Wings send a “M” to replace it. It’s cost me around more 200 dollars (I’m living in Shanghai) But it’s worthy! Size “M” is perfect. The cowhide leather is thick and heavy, the “bi-wings back” give us a lot of free space when you have bigger movement. And the Adjustable side straps” could outline the shape of your waist, to avoiding bloated. You would looks like a real adventurer!
I really hope US Wings could re-stock the “Black goat-skin Indy-style jacket”. Then I could have 2 jackets to wear alternately.
After all, Thanks US Wings to give us a great and timeless jacket!
