Authentic US Army A-2
Our USA -made US Army A-2 is the same jacket that will be issued to the US Army. It is based primarily on the current issue USAF goatskin version but will be made with the finest mil-spec cowhide and goatskin available. Authorized US Army personnel will begin receiving the new A-2 in April of 2020, but we will have this jacket in-stock in December 2019.

During WW II, the A-2 jacket was primarily associated with US Army Air Force pilots and flight crews. Most noteworthy non-aviation Army personnel including officers serving in the 82nd and 101st Airborne and even Gen Douglas MacArthur wore and A-2. Consequently those who were authorized to wear the A-2 wore it like a badge of honor.
The A-2 had a glorious history with the USAAF and is still proudly worn by USAF today. The A-2 has been the most popular “bomber-style” jacket among civilians for decades.
